If there could be only one thing that the people of SMR Group would be known for, let it be caring. Caring to make a contribution to others. Caring about their wants, needs and concerns. Caring to understand their perspectives. Caring to treat them, as we would like to be treated. Caring to help them in the best way possible with their hiring and career interests. Caring to earn the trust and gratitude of the people we serve, while not expecting it.

From its inception in 1995, SMR Group has been piloted by its founder Rick Snowden as a company that diligently strives to demonstrate that it cares the most about the people that privilege us with their trust, our hiring clients and candidates.

This conviction is result of two compelling, primary lessons. One is his years of corporate sales and management where the marketplace taught that lasting success was earned only by best caring for customer’s needs. The other was his experience with the recruiting field, as both a hiring manager and candidate, which left him feeling that more competence and professionalism was needed. The knowledge of these lessons was clear. Committing to practicing the recruiting profession in the most caring manner would make a significant contribution to others that could only result in success.

Anyone that SMR Group serves can expect this same conviction from all SMR team members.

This devotion to caring was vital to the placement of one of our very first candidates in pharmaceuticals, Brendan. Our hiring client was charged with a challenging opening for one of their top managers who is now a Vice President. We diligently performed all the tasks their needs demanded. This resulted in cold calling Brendan at the company where he had become one of the sales leaders in his first year out of college. He was about to initiate his search for entrée into pharmaceuticals. We gained an understanding of his qualifications and needs. Then matched them up with our client’s needs and criteria. We quickly presented his candidacy and facilitated the interview process. Within several weeks Brendan had started the new career he had planned and worked for. He rapidly rose through the ranks into management, becoming a hiring client of SMR Group. Caring to best help people produced success for everyone involved.

It has been this dedication to caring that has guided and driven us to placing over 700 candidates with our clients.

It is this total commitment to caring that has permitted SMR Group to earn the privilege of being a preferred recruiting service provider to virtually every hiring manager we have the chance to work with.
