Rick Snowden, President and Founder

Graduating with a B.A. in history from Rutgers College in 1974, Rick has been involved exclusively with the sales and marketing professions since then.

Starting as a territory sales rep, he held sales and management positions in territorial sales; commercial and national accounts; governmental, academic and medical institutional markets; training; and marketing development. This was over a 20-year period in the highly competitive and demanding business equipment industry, selling copier, facsimile and word-processing systems with the Savin and Minolta organizations.

Establishing SMR Group Ltd in 1995, Rick’s background, including experiences with recruiters as both a hiring manager and a job candidate, uniquely prepared him for early and enduring success in the search and recruitment profession.

Alan Finan, Sr. Recruitment Operations Director

A 1982 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in business management, Alan has 30 years of experience in the highly competitive and demanding business technology industry. Working for Xerox, Ricoh, Minolta and Konica Minolta, he has held numerous management leadership positions at director and V.P. levels overseeing sales, marketing and operations.

Michael Konish, Sr. Client Talent Director

Michael holds a B.S. in marketing from Kean University, May 2000. He first joined SMR Group as an intern in July 1999. He played a pivotal part in contributing to SMR Group’s success, partnering with GlaxoSmithKline for their vaccine sales expansion in 2000. After graduating and entering the corporate world, he missed the challenges of the search and recruitment profession. He rejoined SMR Group in December of 2000. Michael is relentless in his pursuit of top talent and firmly believes in helping every candidate find the perfect job match.
